Will You Accept the Challenge?

Will you accept the challenge in 2020? As organizers, we have accepted the challenge of making the 38th National 24 Hour Challenge even better.

Here are some of the new things we’ll be bringing to the National 24 Hour Challenge in 2020:

Non-Stop Checkpoints! You can ride through the checkpoints non-stop this year as we will be using RFID technology for scanning riders as you pass through the checkpoints.

Two Loops! This year we will have two loops. The new 50-mile Day Loop will be ridden until 9 p.m. and the Night Loop will be the same 7.6 mile loop we have used in the past.

Two Checkpoints! We will only have two checkpoints in 2020, one at Delton-Kellogg High School and one at our home base, Thornapple-Kellogg Middle School.

Online Scoring! We will have the scoring website up and running prior to the event so you can see who is riding and who will be in your age group.

Fresh Breakfast! Our free Sunday morning breakfast for all riders and crews will be fresh-cooked with a variety of foods to make you feel great!

2020 Merchandise! Our 2020 National 24 Hour Challenge swag items for all riders who register by May 1, 2020 are our rider t-shirt and vehicle window decal.

For information about these items and more, be sure to download the 2020 Registration Information.

NEW! 2020 Commemorative Package

New for 2020 and on January 1st ONLY, we will be offering our limited edition 2020 Commemorative Package. The 2020 Commemorative Package includes three items:

1. You will receive one of our National 24 Hour Challenge caps, a lightweight runners-style hat embroidered with the National 24 Hour Challenge logo. After the event, we will have your cap embroidered with the year 2020, your 2020 mileage, and your 2020 rider number. We will ship your cap to you to commemorate your accomplishment!

2. You will select your own rider number between 3 and 300! When you register, we will ask you for your top three rider number choices, and we’ll do our best to assign you your first choice. Please note that #1 is reserved for the 2019 female high mileage rider, and #2 is reserved for the 2019 male high mileage rider.

3. You will get a custom-designed commemorative 2020 back tag with your selected rider number.

The cost for the 2020 Commemorative Package is $40.00.

Only 24 of these packages will be sold on January 1st ONLY, so if you want the commemorative cap, choice of rider number, and custom-designed back tag, be sure to sign up early on January 1, 2020!

NEW! Rider Mentors

Is this your first National 24 Hour Challenge? Would you like to be connected with a rider who has done the National 24 Hour Challenge before so you can ask questions and share information?

When you register, just let us know and we will assign you a rider who has ridden the National 24 Hour Challenge before and will be riding again this year. We will send you an introductory email with the name and email of the rider mentor you are assigned, and we will send your rider mentor an email with your name and email. It will be up to you and your rider mentor to connect via email.

If you are a returning rider, just let us know when you register and we will connect you with a person who will be riding their first National 24 Hour Challenge so you can answer their questions and share information.
